Systems can either filter water for the entire home (whole home water systems) or filter the water coming out of just a single faucet (under sink filtration). Water filtration systems are green, they require no energy to operate and eliminate your dependence upon bottled water inside your home.

True Plumbing can test the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of your drinking water and inform you of the best options for your home or offices water purification needs.

What is the maximum TDS for safe drinking water?

The EPA has a voluntary maximum of 500 ppm (parts per million or mg/l) for drinking water, due to the taste of water above that threshold. Above 1000 ppm is considered unfit for human consumption.
